Overview

This slumping form creates a classic shape - what people call a square 6” sushi plate. There are features that make our former different. First, it has a closed bottom. That makes it possible to set it up on kiln posts for better heat circulation. Second, it has a low profile so if doesn’t interfere with the pyrometers in small, front-loading jewelry kilns. Third, it’s overall size. Plainly, it is small enough to fit in an 8” kiln and leave enough space between the kiln walls and mold’s sides. It is about 2” high and 6.5” square.
